1. Booking & Payment

  • Payment
    For classes organised directly by me, payment is accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, or card payment. Full payment is required to secure your place, and bookings cannot be confirmed until payment has been received.

  • Teaching on Behalf of Third Parties
    When I teach on behalf of a third party, all bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds are managed directly by that organisation. In these cases, their Terms & Conditions will apply, and I cannot be held responsible for their policies or administration.

  • Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you need to cancel your place, please give as much notice as possible.

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the class will be refunded in full (minus any booking fees).

  • Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable, but where possible, I will offer you a transfer to another class or allow you to gift your place to a friend.

  • If I have to cancel or postpone a class (e.g. due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

3. Materials & Equipment

  • Details of what to bring (fabric, thread, pattern, etc.) will be provided in advance.

  • Sewing machines and tools may be available to borrow in class, but you are responsible for the safe use of any equipment.

  • Please follow all safety instructions during the session.

5. Liability

  • I am not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the class.

  • Please ensure you have adequate personal insurance if required.

  • I hold full public liability insurance.

  • Participation in sewing activities is at your own risk.

6. Privacy & GDPR

  • I take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • When you book a class with me, I collect only the personal information I need (such as your name, email address, and contact number) to manage your booking and keep in touch about your lesson. I will never share your details with third parties or use them for any purpose other than providing my sewing tuition services.

  • Your information is stored securely and only kept for as long as necessary. You can request to see, update, or delete your information at any time by contacting me directly.

  • If you subscribe to my newsletter, you’ll only receive updates about classes, sewing tips, and related news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the email.

  • Teaching on Behalf of Third Parties
    When I teach on behalf of another organisation, your booking and personal data will be handled directly by them, and their Privacy Policy and GDPR responsibilities will apply.
