Lullabee Fabric - Sew Different - dress in a day.

  • Lullabee Fabrics Unit 41 Fabric Street, Saffron Way Leicester, LE2 6UP (map)

Join us for a relaxing and creative full day of sewing, where you’ll make either the Sew Different Ripple Dress or Triple Tuck Smock dress. Whether you're a beginner or someone with more sewing experience looking to enjoy some sociable stitching, you'll leave with a beautiful handmade dress and a head full of new skills.

  1. The Ripple Dress -The Ripple Dress is a loose-fitting, peasant-style frock, perfect for skipping through meadows!

It has a boxy bodice with a notched neck line and elbow-length raglan sleeves. The skirt is gathered with spacious cut-out pockets.

This everyday dress pulls on over the head with no need for a zip, and there are two lengths (knee length & midcalf) to choose from.

  2. The Triple Tuck Smock Dress - A loose-fitting, easy-to-wear smock with three front pleats and elbow-length raglan sleeves for comfort. No zip needed—it slips on over the head.

Suggested Fabrics: These patterns are designed for woven fabrics and can be made in a wide variety of fabrics, but for your first version, we recommend a stable light to medium-weight woven such as double gauze, poplin, linen or needlecord.

Class Booking Policy

Please note that class bookings are non-refundable. Due to our small class sizes, rescheduling is also very limited. If you notify us at least two weeks before the scheduled class, we will do our best to transfer your booking to another date—however, this cannot be guaranteed.

All classes require a minimum of four participants to run. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will contact you promptly and offer either a full refund or the opportunity to rebook on an alternative date.

Minimum age for this class: 16 years old.

Important note: We will be taking photos during the session for our website and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be included in the photos, please inform us before the session.

Please note: Depending on your individual sewing speed and experience level, you may not finish your project within the session time. However, we will ensure you leave with all the guidance, instructions, and support you need to confidently complete it at home.
