Join our 2-day sewing workshop where you can create this fabulous, customisable, unlined coat/cardigan.

This session is perfect for beginners with some sewing machine experience who are eager to learn garment making. Designed with patch pockets and full-length sleeves with a wide cuff and an open front with a folded front tab.

The class caters to both confident beginners and those with more sewing experience who wish to socialise while stitching. Attendees will not only leave with a stylish finished piece but also gain a wealth of new sewing skills to enhance their making skills.

Suggested Fabrics: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics and can be made in a wide variety of fabrics, but for your first version, we recommend fabrics like boiled wool, fleece, or micro suede, or even a sweater knit, which allow you to achieve that relaxed, yet put-together look.

What You Will Learn:

• Taking your own measurements

• Understanding the pattern and choosing your size

• Adjusting and cutting the paper pattern

• Laying out your fabric and cutting it ready to sew

•Constructing your garment step-by-step using detailed instructions

What’s Included:

• Use of all Pfaff sewing machines, overlockers, tools and equipment

• Your own copy of your chosen sewing pattern

• Tea and Coffee

• Step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor

What you will need to bring:

•  Your fabric - It is strongly advised to purchase your fabric before the workshop so that it can be pre-washed.

• Fabric requirements: 148 cm (58") wide fabric: Sizes 4 - 14, 2.5 m (2.75 yd) // Sizes 16 - 22, 2.75 m (3 yd)

• Please bring a packed lunch

You will leave with:

• A stylish cardigan/coat made by you

• New sewing skills to tackle more sewing projects

• Your very own copy of your chosen sewing pattern

Class Booking Policy

Please note that class bookings are non-refundable. Due to our small class sizes, rescheduling is also very limited. If you notify us at least two weeks before the scheduled class, we will do our best to transfer your booking to another date—however, this cannot be guaranteed.

All classes require a minimum of four participants to run. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will contact you promptly and offer either a full refund or the opportunity to rebook on an alternative date.

Minimum age for this class: 16 years old.

Important note: We will be taking photos during the session for our website and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be included in the photos, please inform us before the session.

Please note: Depending on your individual sewing speed and experience level, you may not finish your project within the session time. However, we will ensure you leave with all the guidance, instructions, and support you need to confidently complete it at home.
