This Level 4 half-day workshop is perfect for confident machine sewers ready to unlock the full potential of their new/existing overlocker. Designed for beginners using your own overlocker machine, you'll gain essential skills and discover capabilities beyond basic fray prevention.

We'll cover everything from effortless threading and setup to understanding all the features of your overlocker. Explore exciting techniques like creating perfect stretch seams and professional-looking faux cover stitches.

Our aim is to build your confidence, banish any fear, and encourage hands-on experimentation with settings and tension. You'll leave with a comprehensive understanding of your machine and the confidence to tackle any project!

Note: Feel free to bring your overlocker to learn its features, but ensure it's functional and try to include, if possible; the manual, foot pedal, and essential accessories (tweezers, screwdrivers, Allen keys). Please email us at info@lullabeefabrics.comits make and model beforehand. Otherwise, we'll provide a Pfaff 1000 overlocker for studio use.

What you will need to bring:

• We encourage you to bring your own overlocker to the class. However, if you have not yet purchased an overlocker and wish to use Lullabee Fabrics' Pfaff Admire 1000, please inform us when booking.

• Please bring along any old t-shirts or scrap jersey you have. For you to practise on. 

You will leave with:

• The skills, confidence and comfortability using your overlocker, and understanding its full potential.

Class Booking Policy

Please note that class bookings are non-refundable. Due to our small class sizes, rescheduling is also very limited. If you notify us at least two weeks before the scheduled class, we will do our best to transfer your booking to another date—however, this cannot be guaranteed.

All classes require a minimum of four participants to run. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will contact you promptly and offer either a full refund or the opportunity to rebook on an alternative date.

Minimum age for this class: 16 years old.

Important note: We will be taking photos during the session for our website and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be included in the photos, please inform us before the session.

Please note: Depending on your individual sewing speed and experience level, you may not finish your project within the session time. However, we will ensure you leave with all the guidance, instructions, and support you need to confidently complete it at home.
